The activity of ESPN’s profiles on X has been notably low since last Friday, following the announcement by Disney of their decision to halt promotions on the platform.

After reports by Media Matters indicating Elon Musk’s endorsement of content from anti-Semitic and white supremacist sources, this stance was taken. The reports highlighted Musk’s posts and advertisements being showcased alongside material that glorifies the Third Reich and Adolf Hitler.

Although some profiles remain active on the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, the main ESPN account and those of notable programs such as NBA on ESPN, First Take, NFL on ESPN, and ESPN Plus have refrained from posting, interacting, or endorsing any content since Friday.

Disney’s profiles have also been notably quiet on the platform, with Marvel Entertainment also refraining from updates.

In solidarity with the protest, other prominent companies such as Apple, Warner Bros. Discovery, IBM, and Comcast / NBCUniversal have also paused all activities on X.
