Former MLB hurlers Patrick Mahomes Sr. and John Rocker apparently still harbor animosity towards each other since their competitive days over 25 years ago, as they were recently observed engaging in a confrontation in New Orleans during the Super Bowl LIX weekend.

Following their dispute that unfolded on Bourbon Street, both Mahomes Sr. and Rocker exchanged barbs on social media.

Rocker commented on the occurrence on X, stating: “This f***ing loser can’t handle a d*** joke. Wish I had knocked him out right there and ruined his bulls*** weekend even further.”

Mahomes retorted, “You truly haven’t altered one bit in the past 25 years. Keep my name out of your obnoxious mouth.”

In reply, Rocker shot back, “You wouldn’t have had the guts to say that to my face the other night. Lanky a** clown.”

In light of all the squabbling, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy revealed that both individuals have signed documents to partake in an official match, as seemingly the only method for them to resolve this is inside the ring.

“I assume they f***ing despised each other since their baseball days,” Portnoy expressed in the announcement video. “I mean, it’s hardly surprising. Everyone has grievances with John Rocker.”

Portnoy also noted that the three-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Patrick Mahomes Jr. has a dislike for Barstool, but still extended an invitation for him to watch his father compete.

Set for April 19, if everything proceeds as planned, Mahomes and Rocker will go head-to-head in a Barstool sponsored Rough N’ Rowdy clash in Wheeling, West Virginia.
