Throughout Game 4 of the World Series, a chaotic series of events transpired when a pair of Yankees enthusiasts attempted to swipe a ball from the grip of Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts.

Following a pop-up foul ball along the first baseline, the duo of New York supporters in the front row made an effort to acquire the ball, while reaching for the glove and arm of the opposing player.
Now that this viral fan interference incident has surfaced, the two individuals have been recognized as Austin Capobianco (on the left) and John Peter (on the right).
Upon witnessing this event on TV, former NFL player Rob Gronkowski mentioned that he was buddies with Capobianco during college, who happens to be a Yankees season ticket holder.
OF COURSE Gronk was college pals with the #Yankees enthusiast who interfered with Mookie Betts glove last night 😭🔊

“A tidbit for you, the individual there grabbing Mookie Betts’ glove, was my college acquaintance,” Gronkowski shared on The Up & Adams Show. “He was part of the ice hockey squad, the club Arizona Wildcats team. And let me tell you, the entire hockey team, they were absolute fanatics.”
The 4x Super Bowl champion tight end added, “His action mirrors him impeccably. He is fully devoted to his teams, he is all in for the Yankees. I distinctly recall him discussing the Yankees incessantly, his adoration for them was evident. And that perfectly describes him, giving everything to assist his team.”
“I want to applaud you, for shining when your opportunity arose.”
Considering Gronkowski’s character, it is entirely plausible that he befriends one of the ousted Yankees supporters.
Trailing 3-1 in the series, the Yankees will strive to secure victory in Game 5 at home, without Capobianco and Peter present, before journeying back to Los Angeles for Games 6 and 7.
