While the Los Angeles Dodgers prepare to face off against the New York Yankees to determine the championship-winning team, Taylor Trammell, the No. 35 selection in the 2016 MLB Draft, is set to receive a World Series ring regardless of the final outcome.
“Upon joining the Yankees, it slipped my mind,” Trammell mentioned to the Athletic. “In case the Dodgers emerge victorious, I’ll also be entitled to a ring.”
Taylor Trammell, a prospect in the Yankees’ farm system, is destined to attain a championship regardless of the World Series outcome.
His situation is an extreme illustration of a trend seen nearly every season.

It is noteworthy that Trammell made appearances in 10 MLB matches this season, splitting his time equally between the Dodgers and the Yankees.
In the MLB, every player who contributes to a team, even if it’s just one at-bat (or 2 for Trammell with the Yankees), is eligible for championship recognition.
Interestingly, Trammell initially joined the Seattle Mariners in spring training this year; however, failing to secure a spot on the Opening Day roster led to his designation for assignment and subsequent acquisition by the Dodgers.
Subsequently, he played in Los Angeles from April 5 to April 16, with a performance of 0-for-6 and three strikeouts. Following his release, he was signed by the Yankees and went 1-for-1. Post-May 3, he spent the remainder of the season in the minor leagues.

Nonetheless, his contributions will be duly acknowledged as he made appearances for both the NL and AL championship-winning teams.
Considering Trammell’s performance with the Yankees’ Triple-A affiliate, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, he maintained a .256 batting average and accrued 18 home runs, along with 63 RBIs, 65 runs scored, and 20 stolen bases in 106 games this season.
